Since gym memberships haven’t worked for my husband and I in the past, my ideal was to find a personal trainer who would create exercise plans specifically for us and, ideally, come to our house. After searching for over a year, I gave up for a while, and then in June 2021, I found Impact Fitness and Gabby Miller. My husband and I opted for the in-home partner training, and we just finished Week #17. We work out with Gabby once each week for 45 minutes and then repeat the exercise plan two other times during the week on our own. The best part is that each week the exercises, the muscles we work, and the challenge is different, plus we have Gabby teaching us movements and monitoring our form. We look forward to exercising every week now and seeing what Gabby has planned. In addition, we've found that she believes in our abilities more than we do, which is what we need!
From the start, Gabby gathered information about our goals, health, and any physical limitations and then created workouts for my husband and I based on our unique needs. When we traveled to visit family for a week, Gabby created an exercise plan that only required resistance bands, which travel easily. Gabby even provided some cardio plans for me on our “off” days that utilize the machines we have at home and some challenges for outdoor walks. Plus, I started taking advantage of Gabby’s monthly challenges – stretching, calves, core – and I look forward to more.
Our goal was to create a lifestyle change, but we needed an expert. Gabby is our expert, and we see the difference in our day-to-day. Overall, we have more energy, sleep better, are more focused during the workday, have more range of motion, and experience fewer aches and pains. Well, we may be sore here and there but that just reminds us of the progress we’re making, thanks to Gabby. Clearly, we highly recommend working with Gabby!

The new year (2021) marks one year since I've been training with Gabby and I could not be happier and prouder of my journey with her! My husband joined in on the party and we have been couple training for the last 6 months. The results have been tremendous for both of us overall. The results are not just physical, although we both have dropped weight in a very healthy and attainable way this year. Before training with Gabby, we were both used to the mundane routine at the gym, and we were quickly impressed with the amount of skills we picked up just working with her on a weekly basis. Our stamina has improved and Gabby always mixes her sessions up. To this day, I'm not sure if we have ever really repeated any certain exercises exactly. She challenges us and increases our difficulty level workout by workout in a fun way!
